The Gardener’s Delight showcases three casks that exhibit a penchant for the floral and herbaceous accents in whisky. These aromas and flavours can be refreshing to the palate and invigorating to the senses, especially in warm weather months. Cask 6.37 With an unbattered edge invites the taster to discover yellow wildflowers, dandelions and wild heather on the nose with white flowers and mixed herbs on the palate. Cask 94.8 From Cornwall to Madagascar lends a wonderful example of gorse flowers in the glass before showering your palate with a panoply of summery desserts. Cask 71.71 Hugging a hedgerow takes a more herbaceous direction with notes of forest floor, damp leaves and pine needles to complement milk chocolate, nutmeg and blackberry.
