This southern Highland dram has the texture and complexity to keep the coals stoked for a while! Cask 13.75 Briny Dancer hails from the northern Highlands and makes for a compelling follow to the last cask. All aromas and flavours point to the coast in this very interesting departure from the distillery’s style. Big pepper spice marries with vanilla confection to reward us with a mouth-coating dram that begs for a revisiting. Perhaps the most palate-popping of these whiskies is Cask 93.112 Sweet and grubby. Our Campbeltown entrant is booming with butterscotch and all kinds of caramel confections. Combine these attributes with the light smoke and cinder of peat and you have an utterly enjoyable malt that will perform well with or without your summer fare.
