Notes

Spring into flavour this week with strikingly different Society malts! The uniqueness betwixt and between these drams is stark and satisfying. An awakening of the senses awaits with Cask 123.25 Joyful impressions of Spring – a fascinating departure from the house style we have come to know is in store. Cask 66.138 Deep, rich and burnt fruits greets us with a deftly balanced journey into the eastern Highlands. At once nuanced and opulent, smoky and floral, sweet and savoury, this malt is a reminder of the complexity that can be achieved in peated mainland whisky. Our last cask is a stark contrast from the previous released last month (93.100 Flowers in a cola bunker). Cask 93.101 Grand cru cod liver oil offers the spoils of coastal Campbeltown in a textured dram that will excite the senses. Its richness of aromas leads to a maritime buffet of flavours that compliment one another in a panoply of characteristics to discover. This trio of casks is certain to put a spring in your step and help provide a strikingly different tasting flight for your whisky-loving friends!
