On the nose- subtle hints of bubble gum and putty (don’t confuse them!), but mainly syrupy sweetness and perfumed exotic fruits – melon, mango, dried papaya, banana chips and orchard fruits. The palate is full of delicious, nectar-sweet, honeyed fruitiness – rhubarb rock, damson jam, watermelon and grilled peach – the finish finds traces of citrus peel, tree bark and white pepper. The reduced nose has perfumed tobacco, fruity rum punch, Turkish Delight and Pimm’s served in a flower shop. The taste develops a bittersweet, easy-drinking charm of lemon meringue pie, orange muscat, apple and gooseberry sorbet and sherbet – a dry, waxy, resiny finish.
