A floral green aroma greeted the Panel just like being presented with a bouquet of forget-me-not flowers combined with the pleasing colour palette of pink and ivory instantly lifted the mood. Fairly complex on the palate neat with spiced vanilla ice cream, figs, cloves, chocolate caramel fudge and a spicy pine resin finish. When we added water we entered a variety of shops including a patisserie, a florist’s and a furniture store. To taste now like baked apples with spiced sultanas and a vanilla-spiced Peach Melba with fresh ginger, thyme and cinnamon spiced raspberries.
