We revelled in a bouquet of heavenly aromas like sweet perfumed honeysuckle, cherry blossom, pink magnolia shrubs in full bloom and Seville’s orange tree-lined streets. Very lively and zesty on the palate neat, sweet and tropical as well as tangy sour apple sweets with surprising salty caramel popcorn in the finish. Diluted, fruity aromas of apricot, plums, mangos and peaches appeared before lemon whipped cream, cracked black pepper and tarragon entered the mix. To taste now very mellow, viscous and creamy – think of a lemon syllabub rich with cream and mascarpone, an added zing of limoncello and bubbly prosecco for that touch of glamour.
