After the initial, slightly solvent aromas of lemon scented all-purpose cleaner and wood polish, we finished our ‘spring-clean’ and relaxed in an apple orchard enjoying crème caramel and chocolate fudge cake. The taste had all the sweet, sticky, buttery, salted sugary goodness of homemade salted caramels topping a zesty lime cheesecake with a crunchy biscuit base. Turning fresher with the addition of water; lemon and lime sorbet and a pineapple mojito with a chilli-lime rim and flavours of sweet and salty popcorn, spring rolls in a sweet and sour sauce and chipotle honey roasted peanuts – let’s get that party started!
