There was a true dichotomy on the nose neat with the fresh, clean scent of wood polish, window cleaner washed linen and quality white paper on the one hand, whilst on the other coal dust, slightly burned barbequed pineapple rings and Earl Grey tea. On the palate it felt at first like an anaesthetic injection at the dentist, but after the numbness went, the wonderful sweet taste of fresh sun-kissed strawberries took over. Diluted, a sweet perfumed earthiness filled the room and we enjoyed a cup of sweet lemon verbena tea with a touch of cinnamon spice.
