The nose neat had an array of perfectly ripe fruits; peaches, apricots, pears, melons and lychees but at the same time the intense creamy luscious aroma of banana custard, sweetened fresh whipped cream and a puff pastry cream horn filled with strawberry jam. Evocative flavours of Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, fruity jam Swiss roll as well as saffron and acacia honey made us all feel very self-indulgent. That carried on with a drop of water; mixed melon salad with sweet dessert wine and lemon as well as a scoop of elderflower & honey ice cream, while in the taste, strawberry and Chantilly cream mille-feuille.
