Cask No. 12.55

Sweetie darling

Speyside, Lossie

An immediately easy and elegant aroma which brimmed with juicy fruit chewing gum, syrupy waxiness, nectars, runny honey and new world IPAs. Also detected were some wee hints of starched linens, dried flowers and caramelised oatmeal. With water, we found earthy turmeric, canvas, geraniums, wet moss, citrus piths and buttery toast. The neat palate showed sweetness and richness in the form of white stout ales, miso paste, gorse flowers, desiccated coconut and sweet vanilla cream soda. Wee fruity touches of white jelly beans and forest fruits also emerged. Reduction brought lightly sweetened sunflower oil, aniseed, rose syrup and red cola cubes. A blob of tinned custard in the aftertaste.
