COVID-19 Update -
through March 31, 2020
At The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, the well-being and health of our community will always be our number one priority. Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by the coronavirus situation and we appreciate the help from everyone who has stood on the front lines working to contain the pandemic.
In response to the risks and challenges we collectively face, we would like to share a brief update regarding our club’s operations moving forward.
To protect the health of our members and their friends, all tasting events have been cancelled through the end of April 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and hope to resume events across the country as soon as possible. In the interim, we are going to increase on-line tasting events to allow members to continue to enjoy their Society experience from their home. More details to come soon!
We understand that while our ability to engage in person may be limited, our passion for exploring single cask whisky remains as strong as ever. To help you continue this journey while at home, we have decided to cover the shipping cost on all orders placed through March 31, 2020 beginning today at 1:00PM ET. For a Society like ours, this is a significant additional cost to incur, but we feel these exceptional circumstances call for exceptional support for our members.
