Edinburgh Flats

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society has three flats in Edinburgh available to our members. The flats are situated in the same building as the Malt whisky offices, but are accessible by the adjacent courtyard.

Each flat has central heating, a television with built in DVD, CD player, fridge, cooker, microwave, iron and parking space.*

Full payment is required when booking the flats. For cancellations, we request a notice period of 21 days to ensure that your payment is refundable, with the exception of a £25 administration charge. Your cancellation should be confirmed in writing.

The flats are accessible from 2:00pm on the day of your arrival and we ask that you vacate no later than 11:00am on the day of departure. Keys can be collected during the Society opening hours which are 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday to Wednesday, and 9:00am to 10:00pm Thursday to Sunday. Please note the Members' bar closes at 5pm on Monday to Wednesday evenings. Public holidays (except Christmas and New Year) are not a problem, as we always have staff on duty. Unfortunately, due to new licensing laws, children under 14 years are no longer permitted in the Members' Room.

*Private parking is restricted to one space per flat. Permits are available on request and should be displayed on your windscreen. Free on-street parking also available.
